Terms of service
Operated by EvenWorks. By using EvenAPI you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
EvenAPI is a product of EvenWorks ("we", "us", "our"). EvenWorks is the data controller and the service provider. Contact: dpo@evenworks.xyz. Operated from Germany.
2. The service
EvenAPI lets you create endpoints that you can call from your website or app. The endpoints store data, send email, or forward files according to your configuration. You keep ownership of your data and your configuration.
3. Your account
Your account on auth.evenworks.xyz works across every EvenWorks product. Each product receives its own scoped token. You are responsible for the security of your account and your API keys. Tell us at dpo@evenworks.xyz if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to send spam, store illegal content, target minors, attempt to breach our infrastructure, or violate the laws that apply to you. We may suspend an account that violates these rules and we will tell you why.
5. Plans and payment
The Free plan is free of charge. Dev and Techy plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed on the pricing page. We may change prices with 30 days notice. Continued use means acceptance.
6. Rate limits
Each plan has a hard request budget. Hit it and the endpoint goes down for 30 minutes. We contact you to help. Repeated breaches may result in a request to upgrade.
7. Data and privacy
Our data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use any third-party CDN, DDoS, or hyperscaler cloud. Our infrastructure is operated by us, in Germany.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of what you store and send. You give us a limited license to process it in order to provide the service. You can export and delete at any time.
9. Our content
The EvenAPI software, branding, and documentation are owned by EvenWorks. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer them.
10. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may close or suspend an account for breach of these terms. Inactive accounts may be archived after 24 months.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated by email and a banner in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Germany.
